i actually downloaded a zipped copy of some software. Unzipping worked fine using win98 on my system and others, but on 2000, the file was apparently not a valid winzip32 file. Any answers anyone?

search the web for warez. you will find it eventually. Remember their copyright is infringed if you do it. so when someone steals your work then be happy for them.
